Our private tour aims to facilitate groups of people with more specific needs – whether it is large groups of people, families on a short layover stop, or corporate clients looking to help with team bonding – we can help build a customised tour to suit you. Private tours are a must for groups of 7 or more people and tend to incorporate groups of up to 20 people, although we are always able to accommodate you.
Why go private? Our private tours enable you to discover the city at your own pace and enjoy those unique spots for a moment longer – going private means you are in control of the duration. Also, we never want the language to be a barrier to anyone enjoying Frankfurt, that is why we provide multilingual tours in 7 languages: English, Español, Deutsch, Português, Italiano, Polski, and عربي.

Cathedral of St. Bartholomew – This Gothic church located in the centre of Frankfurt and is the largest religious building in the city with deep historical ties to the Roman Empire.
Goethe House – Goethe House is the beautifully kept ex-residence of the Goethe family which has now seen the addition of a museum to honour the legendary writer.
Hauptwache – One of the most iconic stops on the tour, The Hauptwache building has a long and distinct history, with a newly reformed plaza surrounding it.
Zeil – This famous street which dates back to the 14th century is now one of the premier shopping destinations in Frankfurt and since its renovation is now ideal for pedestrians.
Old Opera – Opening in 1880 the impressive structure saw an abrupt change after 1944 but was preserved thanks to a citizen’s initiative in the 1980s.
Stock Exchange – The world’s 10th largest stock exchange was founded in 1585 and is situated in a fascinating building.

We normally cover the central station neighborhood and then go to the city center of Frankfurt; however, with the private tours we can certainly factor in specific requests.

When and where do the private tours depart from?
Our private tours leave whenever you would like them to. You are in charge and get to pick the time & date.
Does the tour still go ahead when it rains?
Yes, as locals we have grown to love the rain and snow in Frankfurt. But please don’t forget to bring an umbrella and some warm clothes.
What should I bring with me?
In the winter, make sure to bring warm shoes and clothes as well as an umbrella for the rain.
In the summer we recommend sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water.
Please do not forget to bring questions! Because we love them.

We recommend visiting Heidelberg, it is 78km south of Frankfurt and has fantastic scenery. Our sister site also offers free walking tours there.
